19. favorite game based off a movie/comic/book...
Scott Pilgrim VS The World. Originally based off a series of 6 comic books written by Brian Lee O’Malley, Scott Pilgrim was a fun comic book, a thrilling movie and an even better video game. I got it about 3 weeks ago and beat it 2 times already. I intend to max out all the items/stats/unlockables as well.
18. a game that you wish more people would have...
Phantasy Star Universe for the PS2/PC. The XBOX360 version is still online, however I played the PS2 version for about 6 months before SEGA ran out of money and decided to shut it down. It makes me sad, because at the time I didn’t have enough money to buy a 360, and PSU was the only RPG I really played during that time period. So when it died, I really had a ton of free time to...
hey, economy. also, i give up on jobs.
Could you please stop sucking so much? I’ve been trying to find a job literally everywhere, and nobody will hire me. At all. There are no positions open. Anywhere. It’s seriously crippling any hope I ever have of finding a job anywhere. And no, this isn’t me complaining and not doing anything about it. I’ve applied to about 120 different places, at least half of which...

Hur hur hur
thenumberoneamericanhero: I decided that when I get back from California I’m going to go back to that bookstore with my Captain America shirt on, my American flag tie, my American flag jeans, my American flag shirt with American flag pins, my American flag shoes, paint my nails with the american flag, and wear my American flag arm warmers. FUCK YEAH I HAVE A SHIT LOAD OF AMERICAN CLOTHING.
Because Twitter Wasn't Enough: Wat. →
Okay so today I went to this bookstore/coffee shop to try and find a copy of a book that NO ONE carries out here. Anyway I walk up to the counter to grab my coffee and this chick behind the counter starts bitching at me for wearing an American flag pin on my hat. She was all like: “YOU RACIST…
17. a game that disappointed you the most
I played the original Xenosaga back in 2005 when I got my first Playstation 2. It was by far one of the most amazing stories I had ever seen, and it was actually the first game where I looked forward to watching cutscenes. On top of that, the gameplay required tons of strategic planning, and the developers weren’t fucking around when it came to the difficulty. That game was hard. Unlike...
16. a game that you used to love but now hate.
Kingdom Hearts 2. Like one of my friends posted, I used to love it back when I was like, 14 years old and didn’t know a good story or good gameplay if it bit me in the ass. And, just like my friend posted, I have to agree that every single battle consisted of spamming the triangle button and watching matrix-style, pre-loaded animations that required zero skill compared to the first game...
15. a video game character you can relate to the...
Um… I don’t relate to video game characters……. Because they’re characters in a video game.
14. a game that no one would expect you to love
This game is an amazing FPS game. I normally despise first-person shooters, but this one was just SO. GOOD. I need to get a copy for myself so I can play it moar.
13. a game that is a guilty pleasure.
The battle system was fun, but the story was kind of bad. Also, the main character had serious daddy issues so it resulted in me rolling my eyes. Often. But it was definitely fun to play.
12. a game that you hate.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. PROTIP: Turn off voice chat. Rednecks. Rednecks everywhere.
11. a game that changed your opinion on something
SPOILER WARNING. DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LEARN ABOUT THE END OF THIS GAME. While Star Ocean: The Last Hope (international)’s plot was overall pretty bad, there were pretty good packets of symbolism such as “The Missing Procedure”, an entity that threatened to destroy the universe, and when people went to different planets with their advanced technology, and...
10. favorite retro game
Pokemon Red was so beast. And it still is. One of the most entertaining experiences I’ve ever had with a game was this one. I remember at recess I would always hang out with a bunch of my friends and we’d trade each other and tell each other how far into the Pokedex we’d gotten. I really miss those days. I miss being a child when the most devastatingly dramatic moment was when...
9. a game with the best soundtrack
Xenosaga Episode I: The Will to Power (Der Wille Zar Macht). It had raw music from the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the battle theme was one of the most grand and sweeping themes I’ve ever heard in a video game. There were times when I actually intentionally got into battles just to hear the song. All in all, this game had the most beautiful soundtrack I’ve ever heard.
8. a game that you’ve played countless times
I played Evolution Worlds (for the Gamecube) so much, that I managed to max out everything. I got all the characters to level 100, I got all the treasures, synthesized every item, got every weapon, defeated every enemy, learned every skill and got every ounce of bonus content. Literally, I completed everything there was to get in the entire game’s programming. I love this game so much...
7. the most surprising game plot twist or ending
Friggin’ Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time. Holy motherfucking shitballs. So here’s how it goes: I was playing this RPG where you travel to different planets (for those not able to follow, dur hurr, it’s the game in the image above) and got about 70 hours in. Now that’s a ton of time and I was following all the plot points very easily. There were plagues, crazy...
6. favorite flash/internet/app game
I don’t really play app games anymore, and I avoid flash games because most of them suck (every single Facebook game ever) and most of them require you to spam your friends to get anywhere (Mafia Wars). But online-based game would have to go to Phantasy Star Online. It’s been out for 11 years and it’s still fun to play. Now I just need a computer that can run it smoothly....
5. a game that reminds you of someone
Audition Online reminds me of my best friend Ben. Mostly because he asks me to join it all the time :p. I wish there was a console version, ‘cause I’d so play it. But I dunno. I don’t like playing rhythm games on a computer via keyboard. It just feels odd.
4. a game that makes you sad
Halo. Why? Because it’s where intelligent conversation goes to die. It makes me a very sad panda. You will get one of 7 conversations in Halo when you play on XBox live: 1. Something about your mother. 2. A pre-pubescent child screaming to one of their parents to get them chocolate milk. 3. Another thing about your mother. Having to do with events that transpired last night. 4. Trash...
Getting it trimmed. It’s getting all blegh-ish. So I’m looking for a new hairstyle while keeping it decently long. Right now, it’s not manageable. So I definitely need to cut some of it off. :] Courtney’s awesome. She said she’d trim my hair. I’m excited. Been thinking about it all night. I was thinking about something like this...
